Compressed air leaving your air compressor may have particulate, oil mist or other contaminants present. Even air downstream of compressed air dryers or air receivers may encounter particulate or develop condensate within piping before the point of use. Different use requirements and different contaminants require different filters. It is recommended that all compressed air systems have appropriate filtration installed before point of use. Atlas Copco has developed specific filter grades to address the various contaminants found in compressed air systems.
